Özet
Transformers are vital for the efficient distribution of electrical energy, helping to transfer power across different voltage levels. In this study, we compare the load and no-load losses of dry-type and oil-filled transformers. The transformers are designed according to the TEDAŞ MLZ specifications. By examining their performance characteristics, we determine how efficiently each type operates. The results show significant differences: dry-type transformers tend to have higher load and no-load losses, while oil-filled transformers perform better in both areas. These findings highlight the unique efficiency traits of each transformer type, providing valuable insights for their selection and use in various power distribution scenarios. Overall, this research enhances our understanding of how these transformers differ, aiding in more informed decisions when choosing the right transformer for specific applications.
