Wind is among the most extensively utilized sources within the realm of renewable energy, witnessing a widespread increase in use globally after the 2000s, thanks to the cost advantages provided by technological advancements. Wind energy, at its most basic, relies on the conversion of wind's kinetic energy into electrical energy, a process that necessitates a multitude of components and systems with varying designs and features to facilitate this energy transformation. These systems are designed to maximize efficiency from wind, yet they do not achieve the theoretical maximum efficiency known as the Betz Limit. For wind turbines to produce electricity with high efficiency, the micrositing process must be executed with utmost accuracy. Furthermore, with advancing technology, new wind power and storage technologies are becoming increasingly prevalent to address the intermittency of wind.
