Özet
The use of high-resolution imaging is important and rapidly gaining momentum in the oil and gas industry, as the need to exploit smaller hydrocarbon traps in complex structures increases. This super-resolution imaging is a great tool for interpreters of the subsurface and allows for instant identification of small-scale events, to locate the pinch-out positions of formations and the edges of subsurface irregularities, such as edges of salt bodies. With the advent of time, these diffracted waves have been recognized as physically reliable carriers of high-resolution structural imaging. In this paper, we have introduced an algorithm which is based on low-rank symbol approximation modelling, for dispersion-free data for D-data (diffraction data) and full-wave imaging. The experiment was performed on the Sigsbee Salt Model. The results were more reliable when using low-rank modelling rather than the Finite Difference method.
