Özet
Architectural design education can benefit from incorporation of 4D CAD techniques into a BIM-enabled process for rapid design and assessment of alternatives. Experimental courses conducted at two universities provide evidence that graduate students possessing modest skills with BIM software can adopt 4D CAD methods and integrate them into their design process with minimal effort. The method enables student teams to gain insight into the construction issues of their designs and iteratively improve design alternatives.
