Özet

Turkey's synthetic fiber industry has grown substantially within the last 15 years to an internationally leading supplier in all areas of synthetic fiber production and processing. Polyamide heavy-denier industrial yarns produced by Dusa, the Turkish polyamide industrial yarn company are used for all industrial applications such as conveyor belts, V-belts, flexible pipes and fishnets. Sakosa, the leader in polyester industrial filament yarn production in Turkey, has been producing 14,000 tons/year polyester industrial yarn. The high modulus low shrinkage (HMLS) industrial yarn produced by Sakosa is used for domestic tire cord fabric production and also exported all over the world. Most of the texturing companies have facilities for intermingling, commingling, and de-torqueing, since the major end use of polyester textured filament yarns is raschel knitting. Rieter has also established its own spunbond line in Turkey and announced that spunlace customer Akinal Sentetik has also ordered a spunbond line. Turkey's synthetic fiber and filament yarn industry has reached a mature state, with the ability to establish production lines without foreign engineering, and are also able to manufacture machinery and equipment.
