Özet
False twist textured yarns inherently possess twist-liveliness due to their molecular structure imposed during the texturing process. While this helicular structure of the molecules creates desired crimp and thus stretch, it also creates some twist-liveliness that may cause troubles during further processing of this yarn. Several techniques to reduce or eliminate this twist-liveliness have been suggested and industrially applied. This paper summarises these techniques and discusses their different aspects.
