Özet
Here, a microwave measurement strategy is proposed to decrease the number of antennas used in the measurement system for through-the-wall microwave imaging applications. To this aim, a metallic bar is exploited to direct electromagnetic fields penetrating through-the-wall and gather adequate information from targets behind the wall. This auxiliary metallic bar is moved on a line near the wall several times. Then, the scattered fields are recorded at each time and employed in the factorization method (FM) to obtain a visualization of the area behind wall.
