Özet

A capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method for the simultaneous assay of bromide, iodide, nitrite, nitrate, and thiocyanate using direct UV detection is reported. The method is based on the separation of anions in a capillary coated with a cationic polymer, polyethyleneimine (PEI). The minimum detection limits, reproducibility of peak areas, and migration times were determined at the optimal condition. The method was applied to the analysis of tap water and human urine. The changes in separation selectivity of the anions resulting from addition of the cationic polymer to the buffer were investigated.
