Özet

This paper shows a study of rotary and shear effects on the out-of-plane free vibration frequencies for different angles (0°, ±45°, ±60°, ±90°) of fibres along the axis of a circular orthotropic beam. Functional suitable for mixed finite element formulation is presented by using Gâteaux Differential Method (GDM) and mixed finite element matrix is given. All type of loading and boundary conditions are taken into account. The alternation of natural frequencies of continuous curved beam is shown as rotary effect is taken into account by solving different examples. A computer program in FORTRAN language is coded to analyze the out-of-plane free vibration and the results are compared with the results obtained by ANSYS.
