Özet

E-commerce is a rapidly growing sector that has become increasingly important in recent years. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the e-commerce sector, with a surge in online shopping as people were forced to stay home. In Turkey, the e-commerce market grew by 18% in 2019 and is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. The pandemic has led to an increase in demand for certain products, such as sports equipment, shavers, and food delivery services. E-commerce has become more popular due to its convenience, variety of products, and contactless payment options. The Turkish government has also taken steps to promote e-commerce, such as providing tax breaks for businesses that sell online. Thus, we aim to analyse the Impact of the COVID-19 Outbreak on Customer Purchasing Behavior by using clustering and classification algorithms in Turkish e-commerce sector. This study will provide an insight about how the pandemic affects the sales and the behaviour of e-commerce sector patterns in Turkey.
