Özet

Herein, Fe 3 O 4 nanospheres attached on N, S co-doped graphene quantum dots (NSG) enclosed CdSe nanoparticles (CdSe/NSG–Fe 3 O 4 ) is introduced as a magnetic high-performance photocatalyst for the heterogeneous photodegradation of methylene blue in aqueous solutions. The as-prepared CdSe/NSG–Fe 3 O 4 nanocatalyst showed high stability and adequate ferromagnetism which makes it easy to be separated and reused. CdSe/NSG–Fe 3 O 4 nanocomposites displayed enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of organic compounds such as azo-dyes compared with CdSe nanoparticles. In view of these advantages offered by the prepared nanocatalyst, it has a high potential for the degradation of organic contaminants.
