Özet
Sustainable aviation fuel is expected to be one of the most important fuel alternatives for the decarbonization of the aviation sector. Many companies have already started to work with the manufacturers to expand the SAF economy. SAFs are produced from different fuels such as biomass, biomethane, and waste gases through different pathways. The pros and cons can be identified through feasibility studies to see which pathway is superior. While the benefits of SAFs outweigh those of conventional fuels, their cost is the current barrier to widespread adoption. Therefore, many authorities have policies and roadmaps to reach an agreement on the use of this fuel.
