Software determines gas-condensate composition

Software has been developed to predict the well stream effluent composition at any stage of pressure depletion of a retrograde gas-condensate reservoir. The program, 'Condense,' can predict initial reservoir fluid composition from a given current well stream composition or a constant volume depletion (CVD) composition from a given initial reservoir fluid composition. When the program predictions are combined with the two-phase compressibility factor, CVD yield also can be calculated.
