Software determines gas-condensate composition

Software that has been developed to predict the well stream effluent composition at any stage of a pressure depletion of a retrograde gas-condensate reservoir. The program 'Condense' can predict initial reservoir fluid composition from a given well stream composition or constant volume depletion composition from a given initial reservoir fluid composition. When combined with the two-phase compressibility factor, constant volume depletion yield can also be calculated. The correlation procedure on which Condense is based is described. Data input, predictions and program limitations are discussed. (P.M.Taylor)
