Özet
The Internet of Things (IoT) plays a crucial role in simplifying life by connecting devices and systems to monitor and control various aspects of daily activities. In Oman, IoT has been integrated across multiple sectors to build a digitally advanced and sustainable nation, aligning with the country's vision of becoming a leader in smart technologies. This project, developed by a team of electronics and communications engineering, focuses on the innovative use of algae-a natural resource that is abundantly available in Oman. Algae can be harnessed for various applications, including food production, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and biofuels, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional resources. However, algae growth requires precise environmental conditions, including optimal temperature, humidity, light intensity, and nutrient levels. To address these challenges, the project proposes the use of IoT-enabled incubators, which can continuously monitor and regulate these parameters in realtime. By integrating sensors and smart control systems, the IoT incubators will ensure that algae are cultivated under ideal conditions, enhancing productivity and efficiency. Furthermore, the project will incorporate renewable energy sources, particularly solar power, to operate the system sustainably. This not only aligns with Oman's renewable energy goals but also reduces the ecological footprint of algae cultivation. Through this project, we aim to contribute to the diversification of Oman's economy by promoting sustainable practices and encouraging innovation in the use of natural resources. The proposed system exemplifies how IoT and renewable energy can combine to create a greener, more efficient future.
