Özet

Safety applications are currently being developed in nex generation vehicular networks to provide road safety. Broad casting of safety messages unveils the need of reliability as sessment since there are no request-To-send (RTS)/clear-To send (CTS) handshaking and acknowledgment packets i broadcast vehicular communications. Therefore, the reli ability of broadcast messages suffer from hidden termina problem, interference and high mobility. To overcome thes challenges, Signal-To-Interference-And-Noise Ratio (SINR) es timation is a key solution so that we can foresee the trans mission collisions caused by hidden terminals and preven its transmissions. Then, we can build a model to improv reliability of broadcast messages. Towards this aim, in thi paper, we propose a SINR based hidden terminal estimatio model. First, we introduce a method to specify hidden ter minals and their transmissions, then we estimate accurat SINR level at the receiver in the near future. Second, w formulate the successfully received packets with a heuristi algorithm and, calculate throughput and hidden termina radius. Our approach enables signiffcant improvement i the reliability of broadcast vehicular communications.
