Özet
On Feb. 6, 2023, a magnitude-7.7 earthquake struck near Pazarcık City in south-central Türkiye. A second earthquake of magnitude 7.6 with the epicenter in Elbistan City followed the first one after 9 hours through the East Anatolian fault system. This paper aims to evaluate the devastating effects of the 6th February 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes on industrial structures by deterministic seismic hazard analysis (DSHA) and risk analysis using the OpenQuake engine. DSHA is performed by considering earthquake parameters (latitude, longitude, depth, Mw, dip, rake). PGA and MMI distribution maps are produced. Seismic damage and risk analyses for a typical single-story reinforced concrete (RC) precast industrial building are performed using four different consequence models with two engineering damage parameter (MIDR, DI). Fragility curves derived for a typical single-story reinforced concrete (RC) precast industrial building are used with the selected consequence models. Probable maximum losses are calculated. Predicted and observed damages are compared. Fragility curves that have good agreement with observed damages are proposed to use in seismic damage and risk analysis of these types of structures.
