Özet
Effective results in business analysis projects depend on the prioritization of requirements. The literature provides several techniques for the prioritization process, it can be challenging due to the involvement of various stakeholders and conflicting criteria. To address this, multi-criteria decision making methods can be used to empower the process. Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Sets is a type of fuzzy set where the membership function is represented as an interval rather than a single value. This allows for a more comprehensive representation of uncertainty and ambiguity in the data being modeled. The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is a multi-criteria decision-making method used to determine the best alternative among a set of options based on multiple criteria. In this study, we propose using the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy TOPSIS method for requirements prioritization. The process involved three experts, five criteria, and ten requirements.
