Özet
The capabilities of imaging in studies of the deep crustal structure based on the refraction wavefield are discussed. The refraction migration is effective for a detailed examination of refracting boundaries by transforming the observed wavefield to the image of the medium. Examples of application of this method in practice confirmed that the migration of refracted waves is advantageous in the cases when refracting boundaries have an intricate structure.
