Özet
Historic architectural ornaments are widely used in interactive media; however, the algorithmic variation of their geometries while maintaining geometric and procedural coherence remains a significantly underexplored area. This study examines how ornamental geometries can be articulated as parameterized generative systems for interaction design. Accordingly, 21 Anatolian geometries were algorithmically reconstructed in p5.js and analyzed through an integrated workflow to identify where geometric decisions occur and how parameters govern morphology, generative structure, and representation. The analysis yields a taxonomy of 11 parameters, including base units, derived proportions, symmetry orders, curvature, spatial periods, deformation, and others, and shows how controlled parameter variation enables interaction-oriented transformation. The study contributes a computational framework clarifying the generative logic of historic architectural ornaments for interaction design.
