Özet
Paleoclimatology in archaeology has been playing a major role in understanding human-environment interactions as well as shaping the socio-cultural evolution of human groups and societies. With increasing computational power, paleoclimate models are becoming more reliable in terms of output data, while advances in geochemistry allow us to integrate new proxies to reconstruct paleoclimate as well as make the analyses of existing proxies more accurate. Paleoclimatology has also been at the forefront of cutting-edge scientific research in archaeology, such as in modeling human behaviors and decision-making processes.
