Özet
This paper introduces an innovative jamming strategy designed to improve the effectiveness of square wave jamming (SWJ) against sequential lobing radars (SLRs). The proposed method incorporates phase reversal into the traditional SWJ technique to exploit the vulnerabilities inherent in angular tracking loops. This results in significant angular errors in the radar's tracking system, potentially causing the radar to lose track of targets when they move through the sidelobe regions of its antenna beams. Notably, the new strategy reduces the jamming-to-signal-ratio (JSR) required to induce track loss compared to conventional SWJ methods, demonstrating a notable improvement of approximately 3 dB in the required JSR. These results underscore the enhanced effectiveness of the proposed approach in addressing SLR vulnerabilities to SWJ.
