Özet
Woven textiles are used as reinforcements in the composite materials in order to create balanced layer properties and enhance mechanical properties. This paper examines the behavior of two-dimension woven textile composite subjected to tensile behavior and the examination of its damage progression using a finite method technique. At first, this work is intended to develop a way for designing the internal geometry of textile geometry basis on the actual geometry of woven textile fabrics. Then, a user subroutine is created to predict the progress of damage and the degradation of a plain fabric under tensile loading. The modeling results indicate a good agreement between theoretical results and experimental results in which this work incorporates a detailed model and an applied subroutine.
