Özet
A microstrip square patch antenna is designed by using an artificial magneto-dielectric substrate. Thanks to periodically arranged Split-Ring Resonators (SRRs), an artifical magneto-dielectric substrate with high constitutive parameters is achieved. At 1.575 GHz, the designed artificial magneto-dielectric antenna footprint is 6 times smaller than the conventional λ/2 patch antenna. The bandwidth and efficiency of the proposed antenna are compared with that of a conventionally miniaturized antenna which employs high dielectric substrate. Fabricated version of the proposed antenna is measured and results are compared with simulations.
