Özet

The laser fiberoptic soldering system and operation techniques were tested For sealing cuts in the rat skin under temperature feedback control. Carbon dioxide laser was used to heat a spot near the albumin soldered cut edges and to control the temperature at 60-70°C for 10 seconds. The tensile strength of laser-soldered cuts was found to be comparable with standard sutured cuts. Temperature controlled laser soldering gave strong bonding with good cosmetic and histological results.
