Özet
Oil-in-gelatin dispersion tissue mimicking materials are widely used in literature during proof-of-concept studies for hyperthermia, non-invasive temperature monitoring and simulation models. Therefore it is essential to list their temperature dependency behavior. In this work, white and grey matter of the brain tissue mimicking phantom is manufactured and its temperature dependency is investigated over a temperature span from 25 to 50°C between 0.5 GHz - 10 GHz. The measured data is fitted in to two-pole temperature dependent Cole-Cole equation and temperature dependency is modeled by using second-order polynomials. The results indicates that these materials is able to imitate the temperature dependency of the biological tissues and can be used for testing applications where microwave electromagnetic waves interact with biological tissues.
