Özet

This paper is concerned with obtaining exact solutions for the rotationally symmetric bending problem of elastic annular plates by using the method of initial values within the framework of nonlocal elasticity. The principal matrix required for the applicability of the method of initial values is presented. Explicit relations are presented for the symmetric bending problem of nonlocal elastic annular plates. Advantages of nonlocal elasticity in representing the symmetric bending problem of nonlocal elastic annular plates are discussed. The nonlocal theory allows for small scale effects. The results indicate that nonlocal elasticity has more potential to represent the mechanical behavior of nanostructures.
