Özet
In electronic warfare (EW) systems, change in rate of phase difference (CRPD) measurements can be used for source localization. The CRPD localization problem is non-convex and non-linear, therefore, it is challenging. In this paper, a closed form solution is developed for the scenario in which the EW system is located at a flying-jet and the target is stationary. The proposed approach utilizes the flight geometry and provides a new linear model to locate the target using the least-squares (LS) approach. In the numerical simulations, we observe that the proposed method outperforms existing LS methods and it reaches the performance of the maximum-likelihood approaches if the antenna scan period of the target is low.
