Özet

This study covers the fault effects on double three phase - six-phase converted systems considering sectionalized compensation schemes for the transmission lines. Compensation schemes can be appropriate solution to increase power transfer capability, improve system stability, improve voltage regulation and reactive power balance, optimise load sharing between parallel lines, reduce system losses. And six-phases can be appropriate solution to transmit larger amounts of power in less physical space with fewer aesthetic and electrical impacts on the environment. Detailed investigations have been carried out to obtain fault effects considering both conversion and compensation-sectionalization technologies necessary for the design of the protection schemes.
