Özet

Compared to many other techniques, high energy milling is a very effective and simple technique to produce nanocrystalline powders with the possibility of obtaining larger quantities. On the other hand, application of high energy milling is limited because of contamination problems. In this study, milling behavior of ZnO powder was studied using different equipment including Spex Mixer and planetary ball mill under different milling conditions. Milled powders were characterized via XRD, BET, LPS measurements and SEM observations for the optimization of milling conditions leading nanocrystalline ZnO powders.
