Özet
Data pages retrieved from a volume holographic data storage channel (VHSC) suffer mainly from inter-symbol interference (ISI) and noise. ISI can be combatted using equalizers that are designed based on careful modeling of the VHSC. In this paper, we present a simple and accurate ISI model for the VHSC and utilize this efficient model to suggest a new iterative magnitude-squared decision feedback equalization (IMSDFE) method. Numerical simulations show that the outputs from the proposed model agree well with expected results and that the IMSDFE is a promising equalization/detection scheme to reduce the bit error rate (BER) of VHSC.
