This study evaluated the efficiency of Turkish textile, apparel and leather sector. Measure-specific DEA was employed using seven measures in two stages described as profitability and marketability. Efficiencies were calculated not only within the sector, but also together with two other sub-sectors in Turkish manufacturing industry, as food, beverages and tobacco, and chemicals, petroleum, rubber and plastics. The performances of the best-practice frontier companies were also evaluated by calculating the benchmark shares by taking all sub-sectors into account.
