Özet
This paper represents the design of high efficient induction motor, with 8 pole and 1.1 kW, by changing rotor lamination, stack length and winding configuration. Since the stator of an induction motor, being produced, was considered to be used in the design, the stator lamination was not changed. In the study firstly, in industrial commercial induction motor with 6 poles and 1.5 kW is modeled using ANSYS Maxwell software. Subsequently, an induction motor with 8 poles, 1.1 kW is designed using multiple parameters of rotor lamination, stack length and winding configurations. The motor performance, efficiency and operating values are compared for each designed. The aim of the study is to ensure that the efficiency of the designed motor is within the IE3 efficiency class limits that defined in the regulation. Additionally, the winding configuration is optimized considering production cost and complexity to get the objective efficiency class motor design. While getting the efficiency it is necessary that noise, vibration and harmonic effects must be considered.
