Özet

This paper presents a new instrumentation amplifier employing a single current conveyor transconductance amplifier (CCTA) and two PMOS transistors. The proposed circuit operates in both current-mode and transimpedance-mode. Electronic adjustment feature is provided by using an electronic resistor realized with two transistors. The SPICE simulation results based on 0.13-μm IBM CMOS parameters are carried out to confirm the theoretical analysis. The proposed IA operates at ±0.9 V supply voltage and the total power consumption is found to be 0.9 mW. The functionality and robustness of the proposed circuit has been verified by frequency and time-domain simulations. As an application example, the proposed current-mode instrumentation amplifier has been employed for removing the noise component in electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. Moreover, the proposed circuit underwent experimental testing utilizing commercially accessible integrated circuits (ICs), namely the AD844 and LM13700.
