Özet
A laboratory type melt spinning machine has been used to produce the novel filament yarn. A V-bed hand knitting machine has been used to produce 1x1 rib knitted fabrics. All machine settings have been kept constant while all samples were being knitted. Since the strengths of prototype yarns are very low due to the few number of filaments, twisting of the yarn and knitting processes were done with some difficulty. A quarter of a glass pot was filled with distilled water. The cover of the glass pot was firmly closed and sealed with stretch film. The weights of the sample group were again measured after 24 hours. A novel prototype yarn and a fabric that can absorb water vapor without causing any feeling of wetness when it contacts with the skin have been successfully developed.
