N2 - In this paper, stability condition for a class of uncertain linear neutral systems is investigated. Sufficient condition for the asymptotic stability of the system is obtained in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI) by the Lyapunov-Krasovskii (LK) approach, as dependent to the delay of the state, but independent of the delay in the first time derivative of the state of the system. Finally, the obtained theoretical results are illustrated with some examples and the values calculated for the upper limit of the time delay are compared with the other related works.
