Cultural transformations and reflections on the physical environment in Trabzon: "A morphological analysis of housing patterns"

Trabzon is an important cultural and commercial center in the Black Sea Region throughout centuries. The city has a unique identity, which has been the result of having different cultures in harmony. In this study the influence of these different cultures on urban spaces and the characteristics of the settlements and inhabitants are discussed. The analysis of home environments on morphological basis, in other words, expression with numbers and graphs and the physical characteristics of settlements are presented.
