Özet

One of the most important activities of Human Resources departments is the active management of the hiring process. The purpose of this study is to observe cost-benefit analysis methods about the calculation of additional contribution that the hiring process would create and to put into a practice. For the cost-benefit analysis of the hiring process, Taylor-Russell, Naylor-Shine, Brogden-Cronbach-Gleser and Fitz-Enz models were examined; after the models are compared with each other Brogden-Cronbach-Gleser model and suggestions of Fitz-Enz for this model were used in the practice. This study showed that the cost of the hiring process for the managements is quite low when compared with the additional contribution that active management of the hiring process would bring and managements should regard the hiring process not only as the whole expenses but as a serious investment decision.
