Özet
Tungsten powders were coated with copper from CuSO4 solution and 5wt.% to 50wt.% Cu-W final compositions were obtained. Sintering behaviors of these coated powders were examined against elemental mixed powders. After compaction, vertical dilatometer was used in order to measure axial shrinkage and shrinkage rate of these compacts. SEM was used to characterize both powders and sintered samples. Although Cu layers inhibit the solid state densification of W particles in all compositions coated powders showed better densification properties against mixed powders.
