Özet

The non-uniform texture of the bulk power transmission system significantly influences its dynamics and leads to a clustered structure of the system. In this article, we present an algorithm which clusters the system for the study of oscillatory stability. We analyze Hopf bifurcation related oscillatory behavior between the clusters formed in an interconnected power system, through computations of feasibility boundaries associated with inter-cluster oscillatory modes. The clustering method and our analysis are applied to some examples of interconnected power system models to give an explanation for the nature of oscillations between coherent groups of generators formed in large power systems.
