Özet
The biocompatibily of dentine, enamel and bone derived hydroxyapatite was studied using primary culture of osteoblasts. The cell viability, collagen and alkaline phosphatase production and cell morphology were analyzed in the presence of biomaterials powder and compared to control and to osteoblasts in the presence of synthetic hydroxyapatite. Osteoblasts in the presence of bone derived hydroxyapatite showed increased proliferation and collagen production. Dentine and enamel derived hydroxyapatite did not alter cell behavior when compared to control or to synthetic hydroxyapatite.
