Özet

The author details developments in bulk continuous filament production, with a focus on hot air or hot steam jets. The advantages of machines by Barmag and Rieter are outlined. Aspects of BCF systems discussed were include texturing jet configurations, yarn paths and plug control. It is likely that BCF production will require continuous quality control in the future.
