Özet

This chapter discusses the transition to a water-smart society and emphasizes the importance of innovative technologies and circular economy principles. The Corleone case study in Italy highlights challenges and opportunities in water reuse initiatives. The chapter assesses water value, management practices, and circularity, providing a holistic sustainability evaluation. Despite obstacles, efforts toward symbiotic circular economy solutions demonstrate commitment to sustainable water management. The chapter offers insights into fostering resilience and resource efficiency in water management amid growing challenges.
