Özet

This article proposes an amplitude-reversion cross-eye jamming (ARCEJ) technique designed to optimize jamming effectiveness while reducing the jamming-to-signal ratio (JSR) requirements. Unlike the traditional cross-eye jamming (CEJ) approach, which necessitates a high JSR and strict system tolerances, the proposed method leverages the angular overshoot behavior of radar angle tracking loops to maneuver the jammer platform out of the radar’s monopulse sum channel. The ARCEJ design includes amplitude control and timing logic to coordinate signal inversion, thereby improving the JSR requirement compared to the traditional CEJ. Through detailed simulations conducted using MATLAB/Simulink, the proposed CEJ technique is shown to achieve radar lock loss at a 3-dB lower JSR compared to the traditional CEJ method. In addition, it offers significant operational advantages over blinking jamming, as it requires only a single platform instead of two. The results highlight the enhanced jamming effectiveness of the proposed technique, particularly in scenarios where achieving a high JSR is challenging.
