Özet

A thermodynamic model was developed to study the relation between temperature and martensitic volume fraction associated with austenite-martensite phase transformation. The chemical free energy was considered a nonlinear function of temperature to analyze the thermodynamic model. The nonlinear energy was found to contribute to the martensitic volume fraction. The martensitic volume percentage was proportional to undercooling and inversely proportional to quenching temperature.
