Özet
For an induction motor to work efficiently, its losses must be low and, for a long service life, its windings must not be damaged. The most important factor that concerns these issues is heating. Analytical and numerical analysis of the sample induction motor were performed in this study using ANSYS RMxprt and Maxwell 2D software. Iterative electromagnetic and thermal analyses of the model were carried out in Motor-CAD software to ascertain the thermal behavior of the induction motor. The accuracy of the model has been tested with an experimental study and it has been found to have an accuracy of 97.3%.
