A Reasoning Method to Interpret Fate of Pollutants on a Cyber-Physical River Model

Özet

This study proposes irregularity finding and reasoning scenario for water quality management in rivers. Foreseeing the circumstances of pollutant in a river network is a challenging task. In this study, pollutant screening and water quality management processes are inhanced by integrating collected data into a generic river model. River and their upstream/downstream relations are abstracted as a binary tree to allow generic and automatized computations. The proposed solution is put into practice on Ergene basin. The data collected from Ergene river network is used and the irregularities in the river are interpreted. The interpreted irregularities overlap with the results that are declared by the experts.
