Özet
Optical knife-edge method is adapted to micropillar-based microfluidic chips for viscosity measurements. A laser is coupled to pillars that function as waveguides, whose output is monitored by a photodiode. We show that a photodiode can replace a CMOS camera, offering cost and computational efficiency advantage.
