Özet
This study presents the design and development of an innovative laminar soil container tailored for large-scale 1 g shaking table experiments. The proposed container, named the Enhanced Transparent Impermeable Laminar (ETILam) Soil Container, incorporates an advanced mobility mechanism achieved through the integration of rollers and a flexible sealant between the laminas. Transparent plexiglass laminas are utilized to enable direct visual observation, while the flexible sealant ensures impermeability, maintaining the integrity of the system during dynamic testing. Shaking table experiment results demonstrated significant acceleration amplifications, highlighting the container’s ability to more accurately replicate free-field soil conditions compared to conventional designs. The ETILam represents a significant advancement in simulating soil behavior for dynamic testing scenarios.
