Özet
This paper proposes a novel refreshable microfluidic Braille display system fabricated out of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), which is low-cost, transparent and has a fast response time. The proposed design is based on the Braille dots standard and characters are formed by fluid-driven membrane deformation that changes depending on the fluid pressure. The fluidic complexity is reduced by having all the cells within a row display the same character and initiate cell refresh based on the reader's finger movements.
